Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners Review

The following post is about Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners that I received free from Crowdtap. I was given them to test and give a honest opinion about. I was not paid for it and I am 100% honest.


The slow cooker is a BIG DEAL in our home. I cook at least 3 times a week if not more with it. It might be for a full meal or I might make part of a meal in it. Either way I love my slow cooker. I have three. Thats right three, all difference sizes. I am a slow cooker geek.

Yet..I have never tried Reynolds Liners, I have never until 2 weeks ago even knew where they were located in a store. Frankly I just wasn't sure if they were worth it. Which leads me to the before the test,test. 

First thing I did was went to my local Walmart and found Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners in the aisle with the plastic wrap,aluminum foil etc. I noticed they were 4 liners for under $2. That caught my attention in a good way!

Next day was SUPERBOWL! I made chili using my liners. 
Lets get into some details first: they fit 3-6.5 quart round and oval slow cookers. The purpose of them is to speed up the clean up time. Make it easier. Make it practical. The soaking,scrubbing,washing and sometimes much more effort then there should be to all go away. Lets be honest we use the slow cooker to help when we are busy or trying to accomplish a lot at a time. So many reasons we use it so why spend a lot of time on clean up? Ta da meet Reynolds Liners.

Back to my amazing chili for Superbowl 50.

 I got everything out and was ready to go!

Look how nicely it fits in there.

Just about to eat! It was a worry of mine that the liners would melt or something awful. It didn't. I cooked it for 4-5hrs. My lid fit on well. Everything went very smoothly.

While waiting for my chili,I noticed they have a box top on there. That makes me very happy.

Over all I was very impressed. 

See that clean up! I rinsed the lid and called it a night.  I love these.  They are a huge improvement to clean up time. No complaints or criticism. 

Garnier Color Sensation hair color (color Black) Review

 Let me jump for joy! I have been dying my hair since I was 14 ( am now 28) and for the last 6 years I have been staying with Black. Naturally I am a light brown.
Recently I dyed my hair red....orange...Didn't cover my dark hair color; that was a fail.

 

I have long hair but not thick so I took the chance with the one box that was sent to me.

I have tried many brands and types of hair color in my time. Purple,Red,Copper,Burgundy,Bright Blonde,Pink..Etc. I am sure I have used a Garnier before but this being new, I was ready.

First let me tell you what this product gives for info. It is for full head cover or a root touch up. Has rig pigments that ensure long lasting color and "fade resistant with 100% Gray coverage". The new Color Sensation says to have a silky shine due to "precious oils". No Mess.Non drip cream formula.

 You get Developer Bottles,Colorant cream tube,After care conditioner,instructions with gloves and a hair coloring brush.

I will admit I don't follow the way they say to color by taking pieces of hair..etc but anyway. Off I went to my new hair color!

I have to admit something else. I have never had a dye that it didn't turn that color when mixed in the bottle. I applied it,and it was white. It made it easier to see where I had put it which was a plus. Although my loving boyfriend said "If it turns your hair white,I'm going to laugh" Thanks babe.

And we wait. 25 mins.

This is what I learned and liked so far. The smell was one of the best in the hair color world. Some make you feel like you possibly might be going to get high. Which is not the case but the smell is horrific. Second,I liked the way it applied. Going on white,it was easy to blend in and one box did all my hair. I liked the brush that was included. That was nifty for my roots and around my ears. Easy instructions. Color I got on my face which I am known to do, I am not the most graceful or careful person,came off with a washcloth and cold water.

25 mins later,and I realized my head didn't itch or burn like it has before with other hair color brands and types. We had black hair! The rinse was easy. I do have one thing negative to say and that was the amount of conditioner. For long hair like mine it in my mind wasn't enough. My hair also didn't feel as smooth after. Which I feel was the conditioner. But my hair is frizzy and a mess anyway. See below. =D

That was my one and only complaint.

And the final result.

BLACK!!!!!

One reason I love black hair is the fierceness I feel. I wish I had better photos. I have a retired Iphone lol so I apologize for the graininess. None the less. It came out shiny,fully covered and black!!!

I would purchase Garnier again. I would get this color and probably will get this color again. I am beyond thrilled I got to try Garnier New Color Sensation.

Listerine Healthy White Mouth Rinse Review

I got thanks to being a Crowdtap member,to try for free Listerine's Healthy White anticavity Mouthrinse. Please understand all the things I say are my opinion. I was sent it to review and that is what I am doing.

Let me set the scene for you a bit so you understand and comprehend how I am now feeling about this product. My teeth are not the greatest. I didn't take real good care of them when I was a kid, Now that I am older I am so much better but the effect of my past shows on my teeth. I was a smoker.WAS. I drink coffee.A lot of coffee. My teeth in my mind would have no response to the Listerine. I went into this feeling pretty down. 

Then 3 days ago happened,then 2 days ago then today.  Not going to lie the minute it hit my mouth I loved it. The taste was not that harsh want to spit it right out squinting eyes type taste. It was refreshing but felt like it was working. I started to get excited. I spit it out and looked up and I saw a difference. It wasn't big but it was there and the powerful feeling after is what got me. Day 2, I was so excited to see the progress. Again I saw some. Then today on day 3, I really saw a difference. There is hope for these teeth. I feel awesome.

The pictures are from day 3. I may look silly but really I don't care. I love this stuff. I would recommend it to anyone.

Here are the top 5 things I adore about Listerine HealthyWhite Anticavity Mouthrinse:
1. As the bottles says "It starts to whiten on Contact" <--Very true!
2. Clean mint flavor. So refreshing.
3. The bottle. I like the pop it has,I like the cap and the new look.
4. My mouth felt so clean and I could tell it was keeping bad breath away.
5. Prevention of cavities. That is perfect. 

There you have it. I am a honest woman. I am in love with this stuff. =) I recommend it.
